Week of January 3- Assignments

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a great break. It is always much needed especially since we are beginning TAKS preparation in the next few week. After we finish measurement, we will begin administering previous TAKS release tests, after-school tutoring, and TAKS objective review in class. This is a VERY important time for our students. Their knowledge will be tested daily in all subjects!

Camp is next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Your student must attend school even if they are not attending camp.

MATH 5.10B- Connect models for perimeter, area, and volume with their respective formulas
Math5.10C- Select and use appropriate units and formulas to measure length, perimeter, area, and volume in customary and SI units.

Monday, January 3- No School
Tuesday, January 4- PSB and Area/Perimeter Review
Wednesday, January 5- PSB and Measurement Practice
Thursday, January 6- PSB and Measuring and Calculating for A/P
Friday, January 7- We are covering Volume, but there will not be weekend homework.
